A short story about us

I'm Jess Larsen, Founder of Thriving Humans. I've spent 20+ years building human systems and teams in fast moving growth companies like TrueLayer, Board Intelligence, Beam and Xylem. I've always followed a curiosity in human behaviour, with the goal to finding out how to design workplaces where people can be at their most productive.

The advent of AI has made this focus more relevant than ever.

I’ve spent the last few months deep in conversation with founders, people leaders and technologists wrestling with the real challenges of making AI transformation work.

We are at a point in time when Work is shifting, faster than it ever has, into a new paradigm. AI capabilities promise to deliver incredible new value and speed of delivery, and is evolving fast. Tbh there's a lot of promises being made out there.

But there's a gap in thinking about how this will work.
Our focus, and the shape of our work as humans, the skills we will need to grow and build - are also going to shift. How companies behave as collections of humans, and creating environments where people really get to thrive and elevate their attention to the new areas they can add greatest impact - this is the work I am building.

I've built a team of partners to solve the human-centric problems we're starting to see arise as businesses go on these journeys, and we're on a mission to go test them out in the world.
